Hotel Pal Cozumel, Cozumel

My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and bad experiences. The rooms were equipped with air conditioning and a fan, which was great, but unfortunately, they were not soundproof, and I had to endure loud Mexican partying and shouting from 10 pm until 5.30 am. The location was convenient with easy access to the Ferry Boat and some restaurants, but it was a bit small. The service was a mix of professionalism and lapses, with staff not speaking English well and often being occupied with their phone or computers. The dining options were quite basic with just toast and instant coffee, and the facilities seemed average.

The hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The spacious and well-designed room with comfy beds was great, but the experience was tainted by the noise from Mexican partying late into the night. The room seemed in need of refurbishment, being dingy, stained, and depressing, which was unexpected for the price paid.
